Foam With Chrome Cap Circular Pod Air Filter. This air filter cleans incoming air before it reaches the carburetor and engine intake tract.
Check airbox sealing surfaces so a new element does not leak dirt around the edges.
Check that the sealing edge contacts the airbox evenly so unfiltered air cannot bypass the element.
The filter should seal evenly and breathe freely before the side cover or airbox lid goes back on.
